First mother's day for Jennifer. It was great. Went to church with both sets of grandparents and then off to Papasitto's. By the way, mother's day is a horrible day to go to a restaurant. But we waited patiently for a table and had a nice lunch--went home and then went into a food induced coma--it was nice.

He used to hate "tummy time" but now that he can lift his head and chest up and roll over, he actually smiles alot of the time.

Waiting for a table on Mother's Day---He was great, but his face resembles what we were thinking.

Jennifer caught a pic of Little Buddy helping me out with my cross word puzzle. He's better at it than I was at his age.

SUPER AFRO BABY!

We gave Luke a bath the other night, dried him off and this is what his hair did. It semi straightens out after a while, but it's funny right after getting wet. The longer it gets, the more curly it becomes. He weighed 12 lbs 10 oz. on the 22nd, but I think at least 5 lbs of that is his afro.

Jenny Williford, Jennifer's cousin on the Speck side gave us this shirt and he's now fitting into it. "My last name is Green, but I'm 50% SPECK!" Thanks Jenny--he'll know his Speck roots

So, as you can tell he LOVES his little chair thingy. He really likes it when you surprise him and look over the top of it at him. That gets this smile every time.

We've been hanging out outside in the hammock alot lately. This is him swinging by himself. He is very calm inside as the next two pictures show. All three of us get in for a snug fit

Sorry I haven't updated the blog in two weeks. Life's been a little hectic around here. But, here are some more pics and I promise I will try harder to keep up with the updates.
Some people thought he might lose his hair. This is six weeks into it. Hasn't lost a bit yet---we'll see though.

Jennifer was in store so Luke and I were just chillin' in the car. Luke wanted to really chill so he put on my sunglasses. He'll be even cooler when he grows into them.

So Jennifer and I were playing with Luke while he was awake--talking to him, taking pictures and such when all of the sudden his face got serious and he stared right at Jennifer for at least twenty seconds(pic to left).
His face then went a little more disgruntled (second pic) and all of a sudden an explosion like you've never heard before comes from our son's behind. His face then went into "WOW, that gave me goose bumps"(third pic)

Teaching him eskimo kisses. He'll stay for a second than he'll start rooting on the nose.

This is what happens 17 hours out of 24.
