Shhhhhhhhhh!!! I'm meditating. Hommmmmmmmmmmmmmm

So Jennifer and I were playing with Luke while he was awake--talking to him, taking pictures and such when all of the sudden his face got serious and he stared right at Jennifer for at least twenty seconds(pic to left).
His face then went a little more disgruntled (second pic) and all of a sudden an explosion like you've never heard before comes from our son's behind. His face then went into "WOW, that gave me goose bumps"(third pic)

Teaching him eskimo kisses. He'll stay for a second than he'll start rooting on the nose.

This is what happens 17 hours out of 24.

Here's a kiss for all you ladies out there.

Bye everybody. Thanks for checking me out. Until next time.

Working on his roller-coaster riding.
Start of a yawn.

Was that me? No, . .okay, it was me.

It's fuzzy but this is what we caught of him making a random smile. It's in his repertoire of faces he randomly makes. It makes us look forward to seeing that first smile he makes because he's happy and actually responding to something. Who knew just seeing your baby make a face could make you this happy.

A day in the life

Man-to-Man

This is his hair after drying it off after a bath.

Being attacked by "The Claw"

He's trying to focus a little more now.

Luke's most comfortable place

"You lookin' at me, You lookin' at me?!"

Working on getting a record contract.

Really?! I get eight meals a day for free and can even eat while I sleep?!

This is his "I just pooped my pants, excuse me" face

Jennifer caught two guys sleeping together beside some tulips. Very manly!
Evelyn Brush gave Luke this shirt. It's a fire engine and the writing says, "To the rescue, daddy's little hero" It's my favorite and one of the only shirts that fits right now.

Wrapped up like a burrito in his swing. He loves it.

Post bath in his froggy robe.

Mom and son having some quality play time.

In Daddy's arm.

Luke David Green
Born February 9th, 2008 at 5:15pm
7 lbs. 4 ounces
20.25 inches
Dr. Salter showing me Luke for the first time. I can't even describe the joy I felt when I first saw him. I never understood, now I do.

This is one of my favorite pictures. This is on the warming hut in the operating room where he was dried and quickly assessed. I was surprised by how calm he was. He just looked all around with everyone poking and prodding. He was squinting because he wasn't used to all the lights.

Stop posing Tommy, let me see my baby!

This is the first time Jennifer saw Luke, and that's me showing her. I hated taking him away from her, but we had to so he could be assessed and she could get sewn up. She said it wasn't that bad---the anesthesiologist put her to sleep for awhile.

First bath. He was SOOO calm. Water splashing all over his face, and he was acting like he always gets baths from older women. That a boy!

This is the first time mom got to hold Luke. He knew exactly who she was. The moment was priceless.

It was a traumatic night for both of them and this was well deserved rest.

Another one of my favorites

I know it's just a reflex, but it still feels good when he holds on to you.

Leaving the hospital and Luke riding in his car seat for the first time. Jenn says this is the most comfortable robe ever--she's been in it four days straight, and I don't see it coming off anytime soon.

Luke's first ride in the car. You can tell he enjoyed it--or he was just enjoying Jenn's finger.

Hey mom, get me some clothes that fit!
